Changing your accountant is easy
The relationship with your accountant should be a long and prosperous one but sadly, too many business owners aren't delivered the kinds of services that best fit their needs. Out of habit, they stick with them when it reality, changing accountants is a very easy process.
We explain how easy it is in this article which appeared in Tauranga's Weekend Sun on May 15.
Tauranga-based independent chartered accountancy firm Sutcliffe Graham + Co says too many local businesses are unhappily wedded to their accountants because they think it's difficult to move on.
Cam Graham, who recently joined Amanda Sutcliffe as a partner of the firm, says the process of changing your accountant is actually very straightforward.
“Only the other day a lady popped into our office and told us she had meant to change her accountants last year but thought it was all a bit too hard," says Cam. "After we explained the process she now realises how easy it is and has joined us."
Amanda says they offer everything from tax and compliance services to supporting clients as they develop their business plans.
